Frontline nurses united

PRINCE GEORGE – On Friday nurses across the country peacefully rallied to grab the attention of politicians.. including right here in Prince George.

Standing in front of MLA Shirley Bonds office, nurses were there asking for safe working conditions, fair contracts, and more staff to give patients the care they deserve. They are demanding changes now before it’s too late.

Nurses are saying that Canada is facing a nursing crisis, and without urgent action by provincial and federal governments to address their demands, things will only get worse as more and more nurses consider leaving the profession. Not only that but this is affecting their mental health.
