Rural property owners warned to check their belongings after string of thefts
PRINCE GEORGE — If you own a rural property north of town, the RCMP says you should check to make sure you haven’t been robbed.
This after police seized a large amount of stolen items from a truck and trailer on Chief Lake Road Tuesday.
Police say most of the items – including boat motors, generators and various tools – appear to be from rural, waterfront properties.
“We are asking those people with property north of town, anywhere from Chief Lake Road to as far as Mackenzie, to check their properties and outbuildings for missing items,” says Cpl. Jennifer Cooper.
