PRINCE GEORGE– This weekend Cosplayers and fans from all over Northern B.C. are attending Northern FanCon 2021 at the CN Centre.

The famous event that was canceled back in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic is back up and running. With music, video game tournaments, costume contests, merchandise, live shows, special guests, and more, vendors and fans say they felt like the event never left and were excited to get out and see all the amazing costumes.

Norm Coyne the organizer and creator of FanCon says that it’s amazing to see everyone out and having fun while also remaining safe and fully vaccinated. He also mentions that he couldn’t have done any of it without his team working together to overcome the pandemic and put on the first safe, live, big event that the City of Prince George has seen in a while.

The event is running until Sunday, September 26th with admission starting at $36.
