PRINCE GEORGE—For 40 years, the salvation army has brought together bikers to help get toys in the hands of kids each christmas. On Sunday, they hosted their annual motorcycle toy run.

Bikers gathered in the parking lot, showing off their toys to other riders.

“We have Harley’s, we have Hondas, Yamaha’s, we have everything. And that’s comradery at its finest,” said Neil Mundreon, Toy Run Rider.

“We get anywhere from two to four hundred bikers. All ages, from all clubs, just to even non-club people who like to ride a bike, coming out for such an event. It’s a great afternoon,” said Roy Law, Community Ministries Director at The Salvation Army.

These bikers play a big role for kids come christmas time. The donations given at the toy run fill a big need for the salvation army’s christmas hamper.

Bikers parked at the CN Centre Parking lot for over an hour before driving off across the city.

“Bikes have changed, people have gotten older, but there’s a lot of people our age that are still coming out,” said Mundreon.

All the donations go towards the Salvation Army’s Christmas Hamper. If you would like to make a donation you can visit their website here.
