United Way breaks ground for Day of Caring
PRINCE GEORGE—After a two year hiatus due to COVID-19, United Way of Northern BC and volunteers from Kelson Group came together to give back for their Day of Caring. The group helped bring much-needed renovations for a home owned by Phoenix Transition Society.
The groups are helping re-build a patio using composite wood that last decades. Railings and staircase access to the garden is also being installed.
The home belongs to Phoenix Transition Society, which helps women and children who are fleeing domestic abuse.
