PRINCE GEORGE — Local Mounties are seeking a suspect allegedly responsible for stealing a vehicle.

RCMP say the car was stolen on September 23 from the 2300 block of Northwood Pulpmill Road and recovered six hours later near Marleau Road and North Street.

A man was found sleeping in the stolen car but police say he wasn’t the guilty party.

Instead they say the suspect was wearing blue jeans, a blue jacket and a black ball cap and was hanging around the 2300 block of Northwood Pulpmill Road on the morning of the theft.
