Dozens cheer in support for healthcare workers on Thanksgiving night
PRINCE GEORGE—While many of us enjoyed a warm thanksgiving meal, there are those who couldn’t. Since the beginning of the pandemic, healthcare workers have tirelessly fought for us and gave the chance to enjoy the holidays.
Yesterday, dozens came out in support of those workers. A car parade took place where dozens decorated their cars and cheered for them.
It was one of many parades that has happened in the past year. Organizer Melanie Hansen said another parade was necessary as a pick up for those who are feeling fatigued from the pandemic.
