Fog, air q and open burning restrictions in effect

Update: Fog advisory lifted

PRINCE GEORGE – Update: The fog advisory has been lifted.

Earlier: Environment Canada has issued a fog advisory for the Prince George region .

The widespread fog is expected to dissipate later this morning.

Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility.

Air Quality Advisory and Open Burning Restrictions are also in effect for Prince George.

Persons with chronic underlying medical conditions or acute infections should postpone or reduce strenuous exercise until the advisory is lifted.

Open burning restrictions are in effect for Prince George and the surrounding area until October 21st at 9:00 am.
