Multiple firearms seized from home on Charella Drive

PRINCE GEORGE — Prince George RCMP seized multiple firearms Monday night from a home on the 3000 block of Charella Drive.

Cpl. Jennifer Cooper says it followed the execution of a search warrant in relation to a weapons investigation.

“Due to the high-risk nature of the call, members of the Emergency Response Team and the Police Dog Services team joined frontline police in executing the search warrant. Police remained at the location for several hours as they conducted their search.”

She says the RCMP “remains committed to removing firearms from those who are involved in criminal activity.”
