SD57 sets by-election date

PRINCE GEORGE — School District 57 has announced voters will be able to cast their ballots on January 15 next year to fill two spots on the district’s Board of Education.
The nomination period runs from November 30 at 9.a.m to December 10 at 4 p.m..
One person will be elected in the Mackenzie Trustee Electoral area and another in the Prince George Trustee Electoral Area.
The spots opened up after former trustees Trent derrick and Shuirose Valimohamed tendered their resignation following a special advisors report which identified systemic racism in the district.
