Update: Pedestrian struck and killed on First Ave and Brunswick street

PRINCE GEORGE – Update: Prince George RCMP Cpl. Jennifer Cooper has confirmed that the pedestrian struck at First Avenue and Brunswick Street has died.

No other information has been released. Witnesses are asked to call police.

Earlier: Prince George RCMP is currently at First Avenue between Victoria Street and George Street investigating a serious motor vehicle incident involving a pedestrian.

“We ask at this time people avoid the area to give First Responders a chance to do their work. We will update when the road is reopened to all traffic,” states Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.
