Salmon enhancement program given a boost

PRINCE GEORGE – Recently the Spruce City Wildlife Association was given a financial boost.

Earlier this week the Spruce City Wildlife Association received $25,000 from Coastal GasLink that’s earmarked towards its hatchery and salmon support programs.

Some of the money will continue to help rebuild some stocks in the Upper and Mid Fraser rivers.

The funding will also allow the association to upgrade ageing infrastructure, as well as go toward operations.
