PRINCE GEORGE– The Prince George RCMP is seeking information from the public about Tuesday afternoon’s fatal pedestrian MVI.

On November 2, 2021, shortly before 12:30 p.m., the Prince George RCMP responded to a motor vehicle incident on the corner of First Avenue and Quebec Street that involved a pedestrian. Unfortunately, the pedestrian did not survive the collision and the police are continuing their investigation.

“We are looking to speak with the driver of a pickup truck who may have information pertinent to this investigation. We believe it to be a 2014-2016 Ford 150 with an extended cab and it appears there is a ratchets strap around the tailgate and an aftermarket bumper. The vehicle was seen driving in the area of First Avenue and Quebec Street around the time of the incident” -Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer, Prince George RCMP.

If anyone has information about this vehicle, or who the driver or passengers of the pickup truck were, we ask that you contact investigators by calling 250-561-3300 to speak with police.

If you have any information about this or any other criminal offense, please contact the Prince George RCMP or anonymously contact Crime Stoppers at 1(800)222-8477 or online at their website. You do not have to reveal your identity to Crime Stoppers. If you provide information that leads to an arrest or recovery of stolen property, you could be eligible for a cash reward.
