Mackenzie’s seniors benefit from federal grant

MACKENZIE – With the District of Mackenzie beginning to age, recent grant funding has helped seniors reconnect with various services in the community.

The federal grant was awarded three years ago and already the senior community has seen some positive results.

The intent of New Horizons bridging the gap program is to draw people together and share resources. The program has experienced some success.
