PRINCE GEORGE – The Spruce Kings have added some youth to their blueline crew.
The hockey team announced the addition of 17-year-old defenceman Adam Leitch to the roster for the 2021-22 season. The Maple Ridge, BC product also suited up in four games for the Victoria Grizzlies as an affiliate player and had one assist in those games.
“As we approached the January 10th deadline, I wanted to add a good young defenseman to our team,” explained Spruce Kings’ GM Mike Hawes. “Adam Leitch is a very good young defenseman who is having a tremendous season for the Ridge Meadows Flames. Ridge Meadows is a great organization that has done a terrific job in assisting Adam with his development. We’re excited to add Adam to our team.”
