Local athletes share the field with four Grey Cup winners
PRINCE GEORGE – This past week, athletes with the Prince George Kodiaks Football Academy were in the presence of champions.
Four former Canadian Football League players were out on the indoor field at the Northern Sport Centre, sharing their knowledge of the game. To top it all off, each of the four have won at least one Grey Cup during their playing days.
Two will be on the sideline for the Prince George Kodiaks junior football team this summer when they take the field for their inaugural season. Keon Raymond, former Calgary Stampeder, is preparing for his first season as a CJFL head coach.
