Cougars fall to the Royals 6-2 on the road

The Cougars made it 4-2 with a few minutes left in the period, with Connor Bowie being assisted by Hudson Thornton and Ethan Samson.

The Cougars couldn’t get back on track though, with Aubin scoring another goal halfway through the second.

Tarun Fizer from Victoria closed the game with another goal halfway through the third, taking the final score to 6-2 for the Royals.

The Cougars are now at 20-33-2-1 in the 2021-2022 WHL Season. They are good for 43 points in 56 games. Next up, they’ll face off against the Royals again Saturday (March 19) at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Arena in Victoria.
