Late comeback win for Spruce Kings

PRINCE GEORGE — The Prince George Spruce Kings defeated the Cranbrook Bucks 3-2 last night at the Rolling Mix Concrete Arena before 1,003 fans to take a 3-2 first round series lead.
But it wasn’t easy, as the Kings scored two late third period goals for the comeback win.
Nick Rheaume tied the game at 15:58 of the third period before Simon Labelle scored the game winner at the 18:40 mark.
Prince George outshot the visitors 38-22. Game six goes tomorrow night in Cranbrook. If a seventh game is necessary, it will be played in Prince George Monday night.
