PRINCE GEORGE – While the baseball diamonds around town are in the process of getting groomed up for another year in the North, many of the city’s ball teams already have their season in full swing.

The Prince George U15 Thunderbirds recently came back from an icebreaker tournament in Kelowna, where they finished with a perfect 4-0 record. It’s an impressive accomplishment this early in the season considering they haven’t had access to an outdoor field. Instead, they have been training at the Northern Sport Centre.
