Vanderhoof International Airshow issues scam alert

VANDERHOOF — Organizers of this summer’s Vanderhoof International Airshow have issued a scam alert.

They claim via their Facebook page that a fraudster is representing himself as “Andrew” or “Olivia” and is attempting to collect vendor fees by PayPal as the Vanderhoof Airshow.

Organizers are urging people not to pay, and if possible to report the scam.

If you’re interested in purchasing tickets to the show, which takes place Saturday, August 6, you can do so online on their website.

This year’s show will feature a number of performers including Dan Reeves, Manfred Radius, Kyle Fowler, and Yellow Thunder, who will be flown by Dave and Drew Watson.
