Quesnel drug bust nets fentanyl, heroin, cash, and prohibited firearms
QUESNEL — Two Quesnel residents are facing drug trafficking charges following a drug bust this week.
RCMP executed a search warrant after observing two men selling drugs downtown yesterday (May 19).
Mounties seized fentanyl, heroin, cash and two prohibited firearms. RCMP say they were disturbed to learn that the fentanyl was rainbow coloured and in the form of rocks or pebbles, making it more attractive to children.
“Drug traffickers use the colours as a marketing tool to identify the potencies and the strengths of the drugs,” says Quesnel RCMP Cpl.Matt Isaak.
