Death in 108 Mile House parking lot considered not suspicious: RCMP

108 MILE HOUSE, B.C. — RCMP say a person’s death in a 108 Mile House-area parking lot does not appear to be suspicious.

Mounties were called to the Sepa Lake parking lot Sunday afternoon (Aug. 14) at about 5:30 for a suspicious occurrence.

Upon their arrival, officers discovered a pickup truck with one person dead inside.

Investigators do not believe the person’s death was suspicious. The B.C. Coroners Service has taken over the investigation.
