Cougars top Winterhawks, 3-1

PRINCE GEORGE — The Prince George Cougars beat the Portland Winterhawks 3-1 Tuesday night at CN Centre.

Tyler Brennan was stellar in net for the second straight day, stopping 34 of 35 shots Portland directed his way for his 14th victory of the season.

The Cougars got goals from Jaxsen Wiebe, Carlin Dezainde, and Cole Dubinsky.

Prince George swept the two-game set, winning the first game on Monday, 1-0 in a shootout.
