Missing man found deceased in rural area north-east of Prince George

PRINCE GEORGE — Prince George RCMP say a man reported missing last month has been found deceased and was the victim of homicide.

Police say 52-year-old James Webb was reported missing on March 15 and found dead on April 23 in a rural location approximately 80 kilometres north-east of Prince George.

RCMP have determined this was a targeted event with links to the drug trade in Prince George and the RCMP’s Serious Crime Unit has taken over the investigation.

Investigators are looking to speak to anyone who saw Webb in the days before he went missing or who knows who he was in contact with before his disappearance to call them at (250)561-3300.
