Man arrested after rash of auto break-ins in Williams Lake
WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C. — RCMP in Williams Lake believe they have cracked a series of vehicle break-ins in the city.
Early Thursday morning (May 11), just after 3:00 a.m., RCMP were called by a person who saw someone go through a neighbour’s vehicle.
Officers approached the man, but he fled on foot. They noted he was wearing a baseball cap, blue and white jacket, blue jeans and a backpack.
A short time later, officers located a person matching the description trying to leave the area. The man was arrested, and RCMP say he had items believed to have been stolen earlier.
