Prince George Spruce Kings and associate coach Brad Tesink agree to new contract

Prince George- The Prince George Spruce Kings announced Friday Morning that Associate Coach Brad Tesink will be returning for the 2023- 2024 BCHL Season

Tesink came to Prince George after spending time as a head coach in the Maritime Junior Hockey League with the South Shore Lumberjacks. The native of Saint John, New Brunswick was a member of the coaching staff for Team New Brunswick during the 2023 Canada Winter Games on Prince Edward Island.

In a statement, the General Manager of the Prince George Spruce Kings said the following.

“I’m excited to have Brad back with us for another season. He’s a very knowledgeable and hard-working coach who can relate to and understand today’s players”.

Tesink also has experience playing major junior hockey. Playing in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, he spent time with the Gatineau Olympiques, Acadie-Bathurst Titan, and the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles. In 2010, Tesink won the Maritime Junior Hockey League championship with the Woodstock Slammers.
