Recommended guidelines suggest two or fewer alcoholic beverages a week
PRINCE GEORGE- The Canadian Centre on Substance Use and Addiction recommended new low-risk alcohol drinking guidelines.
Under the current low-risk alcohol drinking guideline introduced in 2011, Men are to limit alcohol to no more than three standard drinks per day and 15 standard drinks per week. Women are suggested to limit alcohol to more than two standard drinks per day and ten drinks a week to limit risk.
The new recommendations suggest two standard drinks or less per week to avoid alcohol-related consequences.
