Canucks Alumni raise flag to kickoff 14th annual Commonwealth Cup

PRINCE GEORGE — Canucks Alumni were gathered outside City Hall Monday morning, taking part in a special Flag Raising to kick off the 14th annual Commonwealth Cup Golf Tournament

With names like Dennis Kearns, Eddie Hatoum, Gary Monahan, Ron Petrovicky, and Richard Brodeur coming up to Prince George for the event. An enjoyable trip in the eyes of the former Canucks.

For the 2nd straight year, the Tournament will give net proceeds from the tournament to the Prince George Hospice Palliative Care Society. Specifically going towards Home Hospice, an option for patients to pass away in their own homes.

The Tournament kicks off July 18th at Aberdeen Glen Golf Course. Even though the tournament is filled up you can still head up to the course and meet some Canucks Alumni while supporting a good cause.
