Extreme heat sticking around in Prince George

PRINCE GEORGE- The summer heat has returned to Prince George and the surrounding area.
The heat is expected to hang around the northern interior until the later parts of the week. The high Monday was 28 degrees, and Tuesday is expected to be 27 degrees before hitting a weekly high of 30 degrees on Wednesday before dropping off Thursday.
“The fire danger rating is moderate to high,” said Anita De Drue, The Regional District of Fraser-Fort George emergency services coordinator. “Most Likely having some extreme heat isn’t going to help that.”
