PRINCE GEORGE — The PG Tennis and Pickleball Club is one of many areas in Prince George you can play the game of pickleball. The sport seems to be on the rise here in the city and has gained a ton of popularity over the years. Long-time players like David Stewart see the game growing whenever he comes down to the courts, with people always waiting to get a game going.
Stewart has been playing Pickleball for seven years now and looks forward to his time spent down at the club. It checks off many boxes like any other sport you play.
He’s not the only one who has seen the growth of the game. President of the club Jennifer Madsen says the number of members has skyrocketed from under 150 to over 350, in the past couple of years since adding the courts behind the golf course.
