Caledonia Nordic Ski Club hosting Six-Month Out Milestone Celebration this weekend.

PRINCE GEORGE– With the 2024 Para Biathlon World Championships & Para Nordic World Cup Finals just six months away, officials arrived in Prince George to perform their evaluation of the course and according to Georg Zipfel, FIS Race Director, Prince George passed with flying colours

The announcement was made back in October 2022 when the FIS and its committee announced the decision to bring the games to Prince George. It won’t be unfamiliar to the ski club as back in 2019 the World Para Nordic Ski Championships were also held here in Prince George.

When it was announced that the event would be held again here in 2024, Club Director of Competitions and Chair of the Local Organizing Committee, Kevin Pettersen opened it with open arms. As they look to repeat the success of 2019

A big part of that success was the volunteers. Now the Ski Club is hosting a special event this Saturday to help people learn more about the process and also sign up if they’re interested. For more information on how to sign up you can head HERE
