PRINCE GEORGE — The BC Conservation Officer Service has euthanized a coyote suspected of attacking at least six people in the downtown Prince George area.

Sgt. Eamon McArthur says they caught the coyote on September 30 near the Prince George Court House.

He says the coyote had been habituated to humans because it was being fed on a regular basis, noting it had become “a public safety concern.”

McArthur says it’s “never okay to feed wild animals” and called the death preventable.
