Studio 2880 announces new Indigenous art exhibit “Finding Home”

PRINCE GEORGE—On October 18, Studio 2880 is welcoming a brand new photographic art exhibit. The exhibit is titled “Finding Home” and features photographer Drew Watmough. Drew offers thought provoking perspectives through riveting images and his personal journey to reclaim culture and redefine the meaning of home.

In the exhibit, Drew Watmough explores the meaning of Home through the beauty of the earth, water, and sky and how they are intertwined in the strength and quality of life of us all. The showcase also explores what home means to Watmough “as an Indigenous man stripped of, and hidden from culture at birth. “

The opening reception will be on October 18, from 5-7 p.m., and will be on display until November 21 in the Featured Gallery area of Studio 2880.
