Huge snowfall warning for the province

Nov 1, 2023 | 11:16 AM

PRINCE GEORGE— Enviroment Canada released a special weather advisory due to widespread snowfall of up to 5-10 cm expected for tomorrow (Nov.2).

This snowfall could drastically impact driving condition making travel difficult. There is also a rick of freezing rain for the Cariboo, Chilcotin, Salmon Arm, and northern Okanagan Valley.

Environment Canada is urging drivers to prepare for winter driving conditions.

The increased snowfall is due to a low pressure system moving onto the B.C. coast Thursday and bring snow to most of the Central Interior. Warmer air aloft will also accompany the system and this will give the potential for freezing rain tomorrow afternoon.
