The Homework Help program has been a cornerstone of our community since 2015, offering a profound impact on many young lives. It is with great excitement and thankfulness that we can bring back this program once more in-person for those who need extra supports in their learning and want to build their academic confidence and skills in a safe and welcoming space.

“This program has been extremely popular and so well utilized in the past that that we, unfortunately, haven’t been able to accommodate everyone who wanted tutoring services,” reports Manager of Communications & Engagement, Jen Rubadeau. “This year we have opened up more tutoring blocks than last year thanks to the one-time Library Enhancement Grant from the Province of British Columbia.”

Offering no barrier learning support to community youth through the Homework Help program supports PGPL’s vision of fostering a vibrant, inclusive, thriving community, and its mission to build community resilience by creating welcoming and inclusive spaces for every person to read, connect, and share.
