PRINCE GEORGE – With the help of friends and family, searching for a missing dog in Prince George has created an outpouring of community empathy.

A three-month-old puppy has been missing since last Saturday, and to the dog owner’s surprise, the support they received in the search for a puppy has taken on a life of its own.

Since Saturday evening, Madison Porsnuk has been on a mission to find her lost puppy, Driver. Visiting houses and asks anyone if they have seen her missing pup. Many residents are sympathetic, offering words of encouragement and help.

Porsnuk has tried several ways to find her animal by laying out the dog’s bed in the place where she lost saw him.

Madison’s determination to find Driver grows as the word spreads about her missing dog.

“I’ve been trying to thank people as we go because it’s just them showing that they’re there for me through, even if it doesn’t work. I just don’t know if I can ever repay everybody.”
