Vanderhoof RCMP seek assistance in hit and run investigation
NORTHERN B.C.—On Monday, February 5, between 12:15 and 12:30 p.m., a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle while using a Rainbow crosswalk near Nechako Valley Senior Secondary (NVSS) in Vanderhoof. The vehicle, believed to be a silver Tesla 3, ran over the youth’s foot. The youth was taken to hospital for medical treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
“The RCMP are reminding drivers to be aware of their surroundings at all times, especially around parks and schools” said Cpl Steven McLean, Vanderhoof RCMP.
