2nd degree murder charge approved in Moccasin Flats shooting

PRINCE GEORGE — The B.C. Prosecution Service has approved a second degree murder charge in relation to a shooting on January 5 in Prince George.
It occurred at the former UNDU clinic on the 500-block of Ottawa Street in Mocassin Flats. RCMP say the victim finally succumbed to his injuries in early February.
Police note the death has turned an attempted murder investigation into a second-degree murder investigation.
