Unnoticed Evolution: Expert highlights a decade of AI’s subtle integration into daily life
PRINCE GEORGE –A recent Leger poll has some people worried artificial intelligence lacks empathy and could threaten their jobs. According to an AI expert, this technology has been around for a decade, and we don’t even notice it.
AI teaches computers to think and learn independently to help us solve problems and do tasks without us telling them precisely what to do every time.
The poll suggests that 30 percent of Canadians surveyed are turning to Al tools, up from 25 percent a year ago. More than half of younger respondents have used A-I tools, compared to just 13 percent of those 55 and older.
