UNBC Women’s Soccer team set to head to Hawaii for friendly matches
PRINCE GEORGE — The UNBC women’s soccer team is hard at work during the week as the team prepares for a trip to Hawaii—a chance for Neil Sedgwick’s team to play some new competition in the friendly tournament.
For Claire Turner, it’s a perfect way to end her Canada West career. With all her teammates by her side having fun on the road trip to Honolulu. While also a great opportunity to see her hard work as a leader on this Timberwolves team pay off.
UNBC is set to play three schools on the island taking on Grant MacEwan, The University of Hawai’i Hilo, and Chaminade Univeristy. A chance to see how their offseason training is going so far and a look at what soccer is like outside of U-Sports
