Cougars secure 5-1 victory over Kamloops Blazers

KAMLOOPS, BC – The Prince George Cougars secured their third consecutive win after beating the Kamloops Blazers 5-1 last night (Feb. 23).
Borya Valis and Terik Parascak led the team, scoring two goals each for the Cougars. Ondrej Becher added one. Ty Young claimed his 18th win of the season with an impressive 32 saves, while Jesse Sanche stopped 33 shots for the Blazers.
The team now gets ready to face the Kelowna Rockets tonight (Feb. 24) at 7:05 inside Prospera Place. A victory for the Cougars would clinch their second BC Division banner in team history.
