RCMP release footage of hit and run on the Hart Highway

PRINCE GEORGE— Prince George RCMP are seeking witnesses to a motor vehicle incident that occurred last Wednesday, February 21. As seen in the CCTV footage at 7:00 a.m. a vehicle travelling northbound on the Hart Highway near Bellamy Road crossed the centre lane and collided with a vehicle driving south. After the collision the northbound vehicle drove off.

The driver in the south bound vehicle did not suffer any serious injuries.

“We are looking to speak with anyone who witnessed the incident or may have dash camera or video surveillance capturing the suspect vehicle. If you have any information on this investigation, please contact an investigator by calling the Prince George RCMP non-emergency line,” states Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.
