Update: 10-year-old boy in Chetwynd located safe and sound

CHETWYND — Update: RCMP say that Liam has been locate and is safe and sound. Police are thanking the media and public for their assistance in this matter.

Earlier: Chetwynd RCMP are seeking your help in locating a missing 10-year-old boy.

Liam Mattice was last seen shortly before 3 p.m. on Wednesday, June 5.

Police say Liam was last seen running into the gully behind the Little Prairie Elementary School on 51st Street in Chetwynd. Police are actively searching for Liam and local search and rescue have been deployed in efforts to find Liam.
