Mayor’s Black & White Ball is back

PRINCE GEORGE – There were some very sharp-dressed people at Canadian Tire this morning. They were there for the launch of the second annual Mayor’s Black & White ball, which will take place May 4th at the Conference and Civic Centre.

The event is a fundraiser for the Community Arts Council, Theatre Northwest and the Prince Gorge Symphony.

The event is the brainchild of Marnie Hamagami with Theatre Northwest.

“I wanted to do a fundraiser where we could all collaborate together,” she explains. “There’s so much cross-over between our organizations. We help each other so much behind the scenes. “
