Vehicle accident causes power outage in the bowl

PRINCE GEORGE — BC Hydro is reporting a power outage in the west bowl area of Prince George Wednesday morning (Aug.14).

The outage for 1,783 customers occurred at approximately 8:40 a.m. Witnesses report it was the result of a tractor trailer sideswiping on the corner of Quinn Street and Opie Crescent.

There were no reported injuries and power was restored before 10 a.m.
