Business Excellence Awards finalists announced

PRINCE GEORGE — The Prince George Chamber of Commerce has announced its 2024 Business Excellence Awards finalists.

Here are the highlights:

Five local businesses are finalists in multiple categories for the 39th annual Business Excellence Awards.

Pacific Western Brewing and Cheeseneeds lead the way as finalists in three categories each.

PWB is a finalist in the categories of Excellence in Promotion and Marketing, Excellence in Environmental Impact, and Excellence in Technological Innovation, while Cheeseneeds is a BEA finalist in the Excellence in Food and Beverage and Excellence in Customer Service categories, while Cheeseneeds owner/operator Tracey Johnson is a finalist for Business Person of the Year.

Three other local businesses are up to two BEAs each.

Trinity Financial Services are finalists for Business of the Year and Trinity partner Stephen Neudorf is a finalist for Business Person of the Year. 3 Goblins Games are finalists for Business of the Year and Excellence in Entertainment and Attractions, while Baller Food is a BEA finalist in the Excellence in Food and Beverage and Excellent in Promotion and Marketing categories.

Twenty-one other local businesses are also finalists in this year’s BEAs, which will be presented on Saturday, November 2nd, at the House of Ancestors. Tickets are on sale now on the Prince George Chamber of Commerce website.

Canadian Tire owner Selen Alpay will receive the inaugural Lifetime Achievement Award during the gala awards presentation.
