Valuable train horn stolen from Railway & Forestry Museum
PRINCE GEORGE — Prince George RCMP is investigating the theft of a train horn that was stolen from the Central B.C. Railway and Forestry Museum the night of February 22, 2025.
Police say the horn, valued at around $5,000, was a unique piece of machinery and was not a crime of opportunity but likely planned in advance.
According to the Central B.C. Railway and Forestry Museum, this isn’t the first train horn that has been stolen with three others having been taken last year. In response the museum has been removing the horns off the locomotives but was unable to remove this one in time.
