Grand opening for 15th annual Hospice Dream Home to be held Wednesday

PRINCE GEORGE — The Prince George Hospice Palliative Care Society will hold an event at 11:00 a.m. this Wednesday (June 25) to mark the official opening of the 15th Annual Hospice Dream Home at 7807 Southridge Avenue.

In a news release, the Prince George Hospice Palliative Care Society says this year’s home, which was built by Elite Pacific Homes, reflects “the high-quality work of local builders and trades.”

“Every year, this home represents what’s possible when our community shows up for hospice care, Donna Flood, the Executive Director of the Prince George Hospice Palliative Care Society said.

“We’re grateful for the continued support and proud to open the doors once again.”

The Dream Home Lottery is the Society’s biggest fundraiser of the year, and all proceeds support the care and well as programs it offers to individuals and families in Prince George.

“This lottery is more than just a chance to win a home—it’s a way for the people of Prince George to come together in support of hospice care,” the Society said, in a statement.

“To help us celebrate, a complimentary BBQ lunch will be provided by Elite Pacific Homes. We encourage everyone to come by, bring a friend, and enjoy the afternoon with us.”
