Crews douse Bunce Road blaze

PRINCE GEORGE — Prince George Fire Rescue doused a fire in the Vanway neighbourhood last night.

Crews responded to the fire on the 8400 block of Bunce Road just before 5:30 p.m.

Assistant Chief B. Valentine says they arrived to find the back of a modular home burning. 

“Crews made an offensive interior attack and quickly put out the fire,” he says. “Crews assisted a resident who had evacuated and provided medical aid to the two pets who survived.”
