Northern B.C. Crime Stoppers hits special milestone

PRINCE GEORGE — Northern B.C. Crime Stoppers has reached the $40-million-dollar-mark in total property, cash and drugs seized since 1985.

The organization, now in its 41st year, has recovered a total of $40,200,639. It also received 980 tips last year for a total of 24,668 since its inception in 1985.

In 2025, tips to Crime Stoppers resulted in $43,590 in drugs seized, $222,000 in recovered property, and $14,000 in cash recovered for a total of $279,590.

Northern B.C. Crime Stoppers is entering its 41st year and serves over 30 communities across northern British Columbia by taking tips north to the Yukon border, south to Williams Lake, west to Terrace/Kitimat and east to the Alberta border.
